Our laser cutters have the capacity to cut a wide range of materials at varying thicknesses. The machines are capable of cutting the most intricate designs in to paper but are versatile enough to cut MDF and plastic to a thickness of 12mm. We have been asked to work with a variety of materials including leather in to which we engraved a complex design, solid oak to make paperweights and have cut complex box designs in cardboard. If you wish to discuss material usage then please get in touch.

We have 3 different size laser cutters that are all able to cut the wide range of materials. Below you will find the maximum laser bed size for each machine.
Small – 800mm x 450mm
Medium – 1220mm x 600mm
Large – 1220mm x 900mm
All artwork should be drawn to fit on one of these beds and we can discuss providing or sourcing the material at the correct sizes. We will be able to help you with any questions you may have regarding sizes or material thickness.

We can provide you with a complete solution at any stage of the design process and help get things ready for laser cutting. Even if you don’t have any computer design skills we would be more than happy to chat about your ideas. Our in-house team of designers are always happy to help you produce artwork. We can work with most file types but please get in touch for detailed information regarding this. 360 hope to make the design process easier so that you can get exactly what you need.

If your project involves text then you can be sure we will be able to accurately cut a huge range of fonts. As a rough guide the maximum height of a letter we can cut is approx 800mm (32”) and the minimum is 20mm (1”). Considerations need to be made when deciding on fonts depending on the final size. Some delicate fonts might become problematic when very small. We have a great deal of experience with this and would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
